Yes that’s an issue that’s been going on lately. I did read that Text-Link-Ads has changed their plugin so that it wouldn’t be so obvious that you have paid links on your site. I guess when Google says no to something, it’s no longer considered a good practice. I still think paid links are not a bad idea, but with the whole Google issue, it is no longer as good of a practice as it was when it first hit mainstream.

i am a bit wary about text-link-ads since google is against paid links. i am afraid that my site would get penalized and my pr could drop.
